Hearth ("we") is run by [Steven D Vaughn], [The Colony, TX]. This policy explains what information Hearth collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (passwords are stored securely by Google Firebase; we never see them).
- Family hub content: the names, events, to-dos, meals, chores, rewards and budget figures your family enters.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To run Hearth and keep your family's hub in sync across your devices.
- To manage your subscription and send account emails, such as password resets and receipts.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who can see your family hub
Only people who join your family with your invite code. Children's names entered by a parent are visible only to members of that family.
Services we use
Google Firebase (accounts and data storage), Stripe (payments) and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide its service.
Children
Hearth accounts are for adults and teens [13+ / 16+ — CHECK THE LAW WHERE YOU OPERATE]. Parents may add younger children's first names to the family hub; children under that age should not create their own accounts.
Deleting your data
Email [hearthfamilyapp1026@gmail.com] and we will delete your account and family data within 30 days.
